KOVE Outdoor Barrel Sauna – 4–6 Person Garden Sauna with 6kW Harvia Electric Heater

Premium Outdoor Sauna with Genuine Harvia Heater

Create your own outdoor wellness space with the KOVE Barrel Sauna – 4–6 Person, a premium traditional outdoor sauna designed for authentic heat, efficient performance and year-round UK use.

Crafted from premium Canadian Spruce and supplied with a genuine Harvia 6kW electric sauna heater as standard, the KOVE Barrel combines traditional sauna design with a generous interior and integrated front porch seating. Its rounded profile promotes natural air circulation, while the weather-protected shingle roof makes it ideal for gardens, patios and private home wellness spaces.

Traditional Barrel Design for Efficient Heating

The distinctive rounded barrel profile is more than an iconic sauna design. With less unused air space than a conventional square cabin, heat can build efficiently and circulate naturally throughout the interior.

This creates a comfortable and consistent sauna environment while helping the cabin make effective use of the 6kW heater.

• Comfortably accommodates five to six adults
• Rounded profile supports natural heat circulation
• Compact footprint for larger gardens, patios and commercial wellness spaces
• Efficient internal volume
• Classic outdoor sauna appearance

Integrated Front Porch Seating

Unlike many large outdoor saunas, the KOVE Barrel includes an integrated front porch with twin bench seating.

This provides a convenient place to cool down between sessions, prepare before entering or simply enjoy the outdoor surroundings after your sauna.

• Integrated front porch
• Twin exterior bench seats
• Convenient cooling and resting area
• Distinctive traditional barrel design

Crafted from Premium Canadian Spruce

The KOVE Barrel Sauna is built from carefully selected Canadian Spruce, a timber widely used in traditional sauna construction for its strength, stability, natural insulation and attractive pale finish.

Canadian Spruce helps create the bright, calming interior associated with Nordic-style saunas while providing the structural performance required for long-term outdoor use throughout the changing British seasons.

• Solid Canadian Spruce construction
• 38mm timber thickness
• Excellent natural insulation and heat retention
• Strong structural stability
• Smooth internal bench seating

Timber is a natural material. Variations in grain, knots and colour are normal and form part of the unique character of every sauna.

Powered by a Genuine Harvia Heater

The KOVE Barrel Sauna – 4–6 Person is supplied with a genuine Harvia 6kW electric sauna heater as standard.

Designed by Harvia, one of Finland's most respected sauna brands, the heater is matched to the larger internal volume of the cabin to deliver dependable performance, even heat distribution and an authentic stone-heated sauna experience.

• Genuine Harvia 6kW electric sauna heater
• Efficient output matched to the cabin volume
• Suitable for traditional dry sauna sessions and steam over the stones
• Harvia sauna stones included
• Designed to reach typical sauna temperatures in approximately 45–60 minutes under normal conditions

Actual heat-up times will vary depending on ambient temperature, electrical supply, ventilation, initial cabin temperature and how frequently the door is opened.

Electrical Requirements

A fixed-wired single-phase electrical connection is required. No standard plug is supplied. Installation must be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with current UK regulations, including Part P and BS 7671 where applicable.

Weather-Protected Shingle Roof

The KOVE Barrel Sauna features a black asphalt shingle roof designed to protect the timber cabin from rain and changing seasonal conditions.

The dark roof finish complements the natural Canadian Spruce and reinforces the classic outdoor sauna appearance.

• Black asphalt shingle roof
• Weather protection for year-round outdoor use
• Traditional appearance suited to gardens and patios
• Designed for permanent outdoor installation

8mm Tempered Glass Door

The glazed entrance door is manufactured from 8mm tempered safety glass, allowing natural light into the cabin while maintaining the strength and durability required for regular sauna use.

Its clean glass finish complements the rounded timber structure and helps the compact interior feel brighter and more open.

Comfortable Interior Bench Seating

The opposing internal benches provide generous seating for five to six adults, creating a sociable sauna environment for families, friends or shared recovery sessions.

• Indoor Bench Length: 1760mm × 2
• Heater Encasement Depth: 400mm

Installation & Site Requirements

The KOVE Barrel Sauna is supplied flat-packed and designed for straightforward outdoor assembly with clear installation instructions.

• Requires a level, solid base such as concrete, paving slabs or suitably reinforced decking
• Requires a qualified electrician for heater connection
• No plumbing required
• Delivered flat-packed with assembly instructions
• Freestanding outdoor installation

Assembly is typically completed by two to three capable people within a day, although timings will vary depending on experience, access and site conditions. We also recommend using a tradesman if you are not experienced in DIY. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns if the installation is faulty.

Delivery is kerbside only. Please ensure suitable access and adequate assistance are available to move the packaged components to the installation area.

Outdoor Use, Timber Treatment & Maintenance

The KOVE Barrel Sauna is designed specifically for outdoor environments and is suitable for year-round UK use when installed and maintained correctly.

Like any premium timber outdoor structure, periodic inspection and exterior treatment will help preserve its appearance and maximise its service life.

• Inspect external timber and roof periodically
• Keep the base area clear and well drained
• Avoid allowing standing water to collect beneath the sauna
• Reapply a suitable exterior timber treatment when required
• Clean the interior using products suitable for untreated sauna timber

Recommended Exterior Finish

We recommend applying a suitable exterior wood oil shortly after installation. Many customers choose Danish Oil, which enhances the natural grain while adding protection from the elements.

Please note that Danish Oil will naturally deepen the colour of the timber over time. Alternative exterior oils, stains or paints may also be used depending on your preferred finish. Because appearance is a personal choice, the sauna is supplied untreated.

Do not apply conventional paint, varnish or unsuitable chemical treatments to the internal benches or interior sauna surfaces.
